William H. Coleman, Inc.

Bill started William H. Coleman, Inc. in 1974 in Jacksonville, Florida, to provide Marketing, Advertising, and Public Relations services for a variety of domestic USA and International clients, most of them in the financial and food industries. His first significant assignment in the Travel Industry was to organize and launch the inaugural Rendez-Vous Canada event, one of the first times that a “pre-scheduled appointments” trade show format had been used.

This revolutionary new format was then applied by his Company to create new Travel Industry events in Florida, the Caribbean, Latin America, Mexico, Europe, the Southeastern and Southwestern USA, and in the Pacific. Virtually every Travel Industry event now using a “pre-scheduled appointments” format is based on the original William H. Coleman, Inc. “Select-Match” philosophy and management systems.

The Company now manages targeted and professional events for the Travel Industry: TravelMart LatinAmerica; Cancun Travel Mart; and special projects for Ecuador: “Meet Ecuador” – a series of half-day seminars/workshops in primary USA & Canada Markets, and “See Ecuador” – an annual 3 – 6 day event held in Quito, Cuenca, and Guayaquil, Ecuador for Travel Agents and Tour Operators.

William H. Coleman, Inc., worked closely with the Jordan Tourism Board to launch the Jordan Travel Mart at the Dead Sea, and helped American Airlines promote their Latin America and Caribbean service. The William H. Coleman, Inc. headquarters are in Jacksonville, Florida, and there are sales and customer service offices in Toronto and London.

Bill is a native of New York, and a 1961 graduate of Ithaca College, in Ithaca, New York. His early career included four (4) years as a United States Air Force officer, and several years in broadcast journalism, advertising, and public relations. He was the Director of Corporate Communications for The Charter Company, at that time one of the USA’s largest oil companies. In his current position as William H, Coleman, Inc. Chairman, Bill is responsible for the Company’s Financial and Strategic Planning. His wife Irma is the Company’s President & CEO. This allows him to develop new projects, and to participate in international and domestic workshops and seminars.
